Our Vision at Holy Trinity is "Every Member in Ministry". There are numerous opportunities within our church to offer your time and talent in service to others. Prayerfully consider becoming involved in one of the ministries below.
CELEBRATORY GUILD
Each Monday volunteers disassemble the altar flower arrangements from the weekend services, and then use the flowers for several smaller arrangements. These are then delivered to parishioners. Helpers are needed to make the flower arrangements, and also to deliver the flowers to their intended recipients. ST. JOANNA’S GUILD
At Holy Trinity, when a family has lost a loved one, the family has the support of St. Joanna’s Guild in the form of a reception at the church after the funeral. The members of St. Joanna’s Guild host the reception, prepare and serve the food, as well as set up and clean up before and after the reception. St. Joanna’s Guild is divided into several teams that take turns hosting receptions, but more teams and team members, women and men, are needed. TRIBUNE VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers collate the newsletters and prepare them for mailing to the congregation. It is a fun job, and an opportunity to get better acquainted with other parishioners. Please contact the Church Office (321-723-5272) / E-MAIL for more information.
HOLY TRINITY THRIFT SHOP
The shop provides a remarkable outreach to our parish, our community, the diocese, and beyond. All items are donated and include not only clothing, but bedding, dishes, lamps, books, luggage, furniture, jewelry, small household appliances, baby items and much more. Clothing not sold after 90 days is donated to service agencies within our community.
You can help by donating items to the shop either in the bin located in the Gallery next to the Parish Hall, or directly to the Thrift Shop. Large items such as furniture can be picked up from your home. Volunteers are needed to staff the shop. The shop is open Monday through Saturday, and the shifts are from 10:00am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Volunteers are also needed at other times for cleaning, straightening, marking new merchandise, etc. Volunteers work in teams. You can work once a month or more often. No experience is needed; just a willing heart and a desire to help others.
The proceeds from the Thrift Shop sales benefit many different outreach projects throughout the church and in the community.
