Liz and her husband of 46 years, Dave Jones, happily found their way to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in the summer of 2022. Dave is a jazz musician and artist. Liz has been an Episcopal Priest for 38 years, serving mostly in Mississippi. Liz was ordained at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, CA. in 1986. She has been a vicar, several times a rector and interim rector, and lastly Head of School at Coast Episcopal School on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just outside New Orleans.
Currently, Liz oversees the traditional service at 11:15 in the historic chapel. She also serves as the Bishop's Representative on the board of the Academy. Her loves include cooking, reading, writing, and studying scripture, and giving sermons about Jesus Christ and His mighty love for us. Their daughter Sarah lives in New York City, where she is head of live performance at the Metropolitan Museum. Their two cats Taji and Leo live in Melbourne in their new home.
