Two Ways to Share in the Church’s Mission
Join our October mission trip to Honduras (Oct. 5–9) as we begin building relationships with Iglesia Episcopal San Juan and Iglesia Episcopal San Matías. Estimated cost is $1,350 (airfare, lodging, and meals), with transportation provided. Next planning meeting: May 17 at 10:30 AM.
You can also support the San Juan Scholarship Program by sponsoring a child’s education. Full scholarships are $1,100, with partial options available.

The Church has a long history of enduring commitment to Camp Wingmann, a year-round retreat center, the hub of youth activities for the Diocese, and a first-rate Christian summer camp located in Avon Park, Florida. Co-founded by Holy Trinity member, Sharon Jones, Ph.D., Everyone’s Counseling Center (ECC) provides interfaith-based counseling in five locations in Florida including a facility located on Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. From Elizabeth Street, ECC provides counseling to families and individuals of all ages. ECC in Melbourne needs volunteers from time to time to greet clients and answer telephones.

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus with incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families. Trained volunteers, including some of our members, pray weekly at local prisons with incarcerated individuals and come together with them two weekends annually in institutions. Volunteers also hold a weekend retreat for families of incarcerated persons to support them while their loved ones are incarcerated.

CITA operates homeless mens' programs and provides emergency housing and services in Melbourne and a shelter for women and children. Many volunteer opportunities are available.

CoH serves homeless families in Brevard County by providing emergency shelter, transitional rental housing (2 year stay), and permanent rental housing at below market rents; and a rapid rehousing program to assist families with finding affordable rental housing operated by reputable landlords. We serve on the Board of Directors and volunteer to clean rental units prior to new tenants moving in and to move families into new apartments. Volunteers are needed to clean houses after tenants move out, do yard work, provide administrative support like website support, graphic design, and marketing, and work in the CoH thrift shop.

Devereux serves children and their families in the areas of trafficked youth, autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, specialty mental health, education and foster care with clinical, therapeutic, educational and employment programs. Along with serving these particular areas, we also provide gifts for residents during Christmas.
Located in Viera, Devereux has many opportunities available for volunteers in a supervised setting.

Founded in 1977, Genesis House, Inc. has grown to owning and operating three homes providing women with children and senior women with transitional housing and assistance finding affordable permanent housing. We support Genesis House in many ways including providing children’s books and fresh fruit during the year and Chiristmas gifts for mothers and children. Genesis House needs volunteers to watch kids while mothers are at work or school and volunteers to offer life skill classes to mothers.

NeighborUp provides services and affordable housing in the Booker T. Washington Neighborhood including after-school and summer programming and community support services., many led or facilitated by volunteers. Church members participate annually in Gifts from the Heart that offers local families an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts for their children. Gifts are donated by ordering online and then delivered to NeighborUp to be displayed for shoppers and gift wrapped. Volunteers wrap gifts and work at the "store."

WAYS for Life, one of our long-time partners, helps at-risk youth (ages 15-25) in Brevard County find resources and creative solutions to issues such as housing, legal, unemployment, education, transportation, health care, wellness, and counseling including LiftUp Life Skills.
