The Prayer Course

‘The Prayer Course’ began at Holy Trinity in October on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am with Fr. Dave and on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm with Fr. Bob, both in the Parish Hall. Senior High youth are also participating on Sunday mornings at 10:30am in Lewis Hall. ‘The Prayer Course’ is an eight-week video series on The Lord’s Prayer featuring Pete Greig, author of ‘How to Pray - A Simple Guide for Normal People’ and ‘How to Hear God - A Simple Guide for Normal People’. In the Gospel of Luke, the disciples ask Jesus to teach them how to pray. It is here Jesus teaches the disciples what has come to be called ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ (Luke 11:2-4, Matthew 6:9-11). The series explores different aspects of prayer and invites participants to pray individually or as a group. Would you like to know more about how to pray? It's not too late to join in! Come join us for this small group experience here at Holy Trinity. For more information please contact Fr. Bob, Fr. Dave, or Fr. Tom.

Alpha Class

Who is the Alpha Course for?

First, it is for you to strengthen your walk in Christ. Alpha will put a little muscle on your faith. Second, it is for your friends and neighbors, anyone wishing to know more about following Jesus Christ. Do you know individuals that would like to learn more about Jesus, perhaps a friend or neighbor? Begin intentionally praying for those that might find this a good experience and start thinking about approaching them for this 11-week journey of faith. Check back for the next series of Alpha courses. Questions? Comments? Contact Fr. Bob at frbob@holytrinitymelbourne.org. For additional information visit alphausa.org.
