Foyer Groups

The Foyer Groups Ministry is a hospitality ministry whose aim is to have members of our community get to know one another in a social setting and to break bread together. The word “foyer” is from the French word meaning “home” or “hearth”.  Each group of 8-10 parishioners has a convener, who is responsible for making sure the group meets regularly during the year and that everyone has a chance to host one of the gatherings. The rotation begins with a Super Supper kick-off dinner in the fall, where parishioners who signed up are introduced to their groups and decide when and where they will have their first gathering. They may decide to meet for dinner at someone’s home, a picnic in the park, or brunch at a restaurant—whatever works well for the members of the group. The gathering begins with a litany read by the members, followed by the saying of grace.  By breaking bread together, the members enjoy one another’s company, strengthen the bonds of community, and get to know other parishioners with whom they might not otherwise interact because they attend different services. Hospitality is an important ministry. We welcome all parishioners to sign up for our next rotation in the fall. Contact: Sherry LaRue

Parents' Night Out (PNO)

Can you remember the last time you went out to dinner or a movie kid free? If not, Parents’ Night Out (PNO) is just what you need! On PNO evenings the youth group and some of our nursery staff provide childcare at church while the parents head out together for dinner or other scheduled activities. At the church, your child(ren) will have a pizza dinner, play in the gym or on the playground, and enjoy a movie in the parish hall. Check the NEWSLETTERS & ANNOUNCEMENTS for details about the upcoming PNOs. For more information, contact Joey Jachec or call the church office (321-723-5272).

Coffee Hour

The Coffee Hour Ministry supports a social hour between the 9:00 and 11:15 services each Sunday. It provides an opportunity for general fellowship and light refreshments, and is supported by ten groups within our church who serve on a rotating basis. These include Becky and Friends, Daughters of the King, Family Choir, Friends of Holy Trinity, Health Ministry, Holy Trinity Thrift Shop, Kitchen Divas, STEAMMates, Vestry and Youth Group. Each group is responsible for bringing snacks to share with our church family, setting up and cleaning up. We have two wonderful people who help in the kitchen to make things run smoothly each week. Also, the vestry has allocated funds for those who purchase food for Coffee Hour and would like to be reimbursed. This is a very important ministry at Holy Trinity as we gather each Sunday and share time together.
